Because I am a respectful, responsible, honest, attentive and team player, with great volleyball skills and also with some leadership experience, I believe that I possess the necessary traits to be part of a D1 team. I will keep working hard and putting all my effort in volleyball in order to obtain a scholarship. I started playing when I was 12 years old after I saw my friends play. First, I attended the school tryouts but didn't make the cut, so I committed with my parents, set up the goal and promised myself that I would make the team the next year; I immediately started clinics and joined a club team in order to improve. I worked hard and actually I succeeded in making the cut as promised. Since then, I'm a starter at both my varsity team and my club. According to a few coaches, I might be one of the best players in Puerto Rico for the 17U Open category, I hope College coaches agree. Furthermore, I aspire to receive a scholarship so I may achieve my goal of playing for a university and study medicine specialized in dermatology.
