Throughout my life, athletics have had a positive impact on me. The structure and discipline provided to me from volleyball has helped make me a better student, daughter, and teammate. I have learned that being part of a team is not just about winning and always being the best, but more importantly, it’s about being supportive, patient, and loyal. I have been playing volleyball since I was in the fifth grade.  Volleyball has not only helped me grow as a player, but as a person as well. Because of volleyball I have made lifelong friendships with people that I would have never met otherwise. This is one reason I love volleyball. It is the place where I feel most like myself. All my stress and worries from the day fade away as soon as I start playing. I hope to find a school that will allow me to continue my growth as a student athlete and teammate.
