Once I decided that I wanted to play volleyball in college, I knew I would have to work hard. I have been told I am a very coachable athlete and during school seasons I have played in many different positions my coaches have needed me to play. I have also recently begun to train with a program called APEX Speed and Agility to help improve my general strength as well as my speed, vertical, and much more. I never knew that training hard could actually be so much fun. These competitive environments tend to be where I thrive, most likely due to my love of the game.
I could honestly play volleyball every day for the rest of my life, and I would never get tired of it. One of my coaches actually called me a “volleyball junkie” because I go to all the possible practices I can, just to get more touches on the ball. All I truly want is to become the best possible volleyball player I can, which I will strive to do through any means necessary. I am willing to work hard and play even harder if given the chance to make my dream a reality.
My hard-working attitude is shown in my academics as well, which I plan to continue throughout my college career. I would like to attend a school that is the right fit for me in both academics and athletics, and I hope to continue this all four years wherever I go. No matter where I attend school, I just want to be able to do what I love.
