My name is Dessie Anne Nietert and I am 16 years old. I am 6" tall and have been playing travel volleyball at the competitive level since I was 11 years old. I am currently a senior at Academic Magnet High School in Charleston, SC. In searching for a school my goal is to find a college where I can play volleyball at a competitive level and achieve the academic goals, I've set for myself. I am interested in molecular biology and genetic research. As of now it's my hope to work in either genetic research or forensics. I believe my experience on the court will make me a valuable addition to any team. I've found I am a resilient personality, determined to help my teammates both on and off the court. I practice hard, but I play harder. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that you cannot go wrong as long as you put in the time and effort. I am willing to do whatever it takes to reach my goals and I ask that you believe in me and my determination.
