Rebecca Nicole Funderburk '20 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball is my passion. It has been my privilege to play since 2012 on several great teams with coaches and players who have challenged me and helped me grow both as a person and as a player.  One of my greatest strengths is as an encourager on my teams.  I am usually the loudest and will work hard to rally the team even when behind. I was voted Best Teammate last year for my school team by our coach due to my attitude and hustle. I am proud of this achievement and work hard every day to continue to be worthy of this type of honor. I love meeting new players and the challenge of competition. My coaches have become mentors, and I so appreciate these relationships! I hope to one day be able to coach. This is my platform, this is what I love.
