Lauren Kucera '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi!  My name is Lauren Kucera, and I am a senior at Woodmont High School in Piedmont, South Carolina.  As a freshman and sophomore, I played on the Junior Varsity team as the libero, an outside hitter and a setter.  As a junior and senior, I played on the Varsity team as the libero.  I've been around volleyball my entire life, where I first began at my local rec league, then on to middle school and now high school, as well as 5 years of club in between.  Throughout my experience, I've had the opportunity to play every position, but my primary position is libero and defensive specialist.  Volleyball has always been a very special part of my life, and I enjoy every second that I get to be a part of it.  I would love to compete at the next level and continue to grow in the sport that I love.
