I first started playing volleyball when I was in seventh grade. I fell in love with the sport my freshman year of club volleyball when I started playing on the 18U team. I liked the competitive atmosphere and it made me want to grow and be better, and that's when I knew that volleyball was my sport. Some of my strengths in volleyball would be my leadership skills, this year as a sophomore I was team captain for my club volleyball team. I like being the loudest on the court when it comes to cheering and getting everybody excited. I'm not afraid of the ball and I always want it to come to me, I'm a solid digger. I have a tough swing and I love to hit; I can hit in every position but outside is my favorite and the one I'm best at. I'm also good at blocking, I can single and double block. I also have a powerful serve and like to serve to the open spots. I am a multi-sport athlete; I play at a high level of basketball and track. As a freshman I qualified for the state track meet as a sprinter, and I have qualified again as a sophomore. My best subjects in school would be math and English. I have been in FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America), student council, FCA (Fellowship of Christain Athletes), church youth group, and I do summer leagues for volleyball and basketball. I have always wanted to play volleyball in college, it's been one of my biggest dreams and goals. I love the sport and want to continue playing competitively as long as I can and make new teammates/ friends. I want to double major in education/business. I have always wanted to be a teacher, preferably a high school teacher, I’m not quite sure what I want to teach yet. During the summer I would like to run my own business of some sort.
