It has been my dream to play at the college level and earn scholarship money in order to help pay my way through college. I am ready for the commitment needed to contribute to a collegiate team and be a valued member for my teammates and coach.
I am truly a student of the game of volleyball - I study the positions, the strategy and skill needed to play the game, and have practiced a strong work ethic instilled in me by my family by developing my skills to play at the next level. I advanced to the high school level in volleyball as an 8th grader, and have played club volleyball for the past four years, advancing to club teams two years above my age level based upon my skills as a defensive specialist, libero, and outside hitter. I prefer the DS and libero positions.
I understand that playing sports always comes second to my school work and academic achievement, and I work to manage both the challenges of excelling academically and the time commitment needed to develop myself athletically - both skills and the mental game - to achieve both. I am the third child of four kids in my family who value honesty, integrity, and strong morale character - always striving to do what is right and support my friends and family in their lives, too.
