In the huddle, I start the team chant, “I believe that we will win.” I lead the chant because I am the loudest, rowdiest, and most excited. My mom tells a story about when she came to pick me up from pre-k and I was standing on a table waving my hands to my class rallying them up for the playground. Now on the volleyball court rallying my team is one of my favorite parts of the game.
When I was younger my athleticism and aggressive nature carried my game. This year, I have focused more of my vertical and technique. My vertical has improved 3.5” this past year and I will keep working.
I have wanted to be an engineer since I was 10 years old and I am apart of an honors engineering program at my high school. Finding the right academic program for me is the most important part of the recruitment process.
