My name is Kiley Sims and I am set to graduate in 2024. I am a setter, outside, and right side hitter but can play any position, if required. I fell in love with volleyball when my family moved to Hawaii at the age of 7. First, I started playing league volleyball, then for middle school, and have since been apart of several club teams. I also spent a summer playing beach volleyball in 2019. This past season I played on the Freshman Volleyball team at Rossview High School as their only setter with a record of 8-2. I also play on a travel team for Clarksville Volleyball Club as a setter and right side hitter. I have a strong passion and love for volleyball. I enjoy not only playing but also watching volleyball on television. My goal is to continue playing volleyball in college and possibly after college as well.
While playing volleyball, I have grown many friendships and bonds with both coaches and teammates. I strongly believe that positive attitudes, supporting your teammates, and being a good leader are all very important. I believe that I am a strong team player and perform best under pressure. Although volleyball is important to me, I also take my school studies seriously. I am currently taking honor classes and have a 4.0 GPA. I am also involved in student council. Even though I am not 100 percent sure on a degree in college yet, I do know I would like a degree that involves astronomy and space. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and I hope to talk to you soon about my potential college volleyball career.
