Olivia Moody '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a strong and adaptable DS/L (5' 6" @ 135 lb.) from Cleveland, TN graduating in the class of 2025. This region is an athletic hotbed, and it has been a rewarding experience to play with/against other strong competitors. However, I am ready to play at the next level! My goal is to compete as a collegiate volleyball player, earn a degree, and have an amazing experience. Years as a multisport athlete (school/club volleyball & school/select softball) have made me a stronger, more well-rounded athlete. I am passionate about playing collegiate volleyball, having played school volleyball since 6th grade (Varsity, starter, DS), competitive club volleyball for 6 years (Regional, AAU/SRVA)(starting, DS/L/OH), competed in 65+ tournaments, attended numerous skill/training camps, dedicated myself to off-season training, all while maintaining an athlete-scholar commitment. Volleyball has allowed me to have an amazing life balance. My work ethic is unique; I find the hardest working person and attempt to out-perform them. My drive allows me to dig deep and go the extra mile. I have had the unique ability to play all around and gain valuable perspective to strengthen the DS position. I am that player you can count on every time to perform. Advanced ball control, digging skills, ball read, reflexes, agility, game awareness, communication, gel factor, and mental toughness. Value added not only by skill and work ethic, but because I am a team player that delivers. I believe in shaking things off, staying focused on the next ball and keeping your mind in the game. I have always been coachable and taken feedback well for growth. Every day I try to better myself as an athlete, scholar, and person. I look forward to learning more about your program, and how I can assist your needs for a strong and adaptable DS/L in 2025.
