HI, I am Emma Walker. I am going to be a senior this year at Alvin C. York Institute, but I play Volleyball for Clarkrange high school. I am an driven and a hardworking student. My dad told me freshmen year that I wouldn't be able to play volleyball because my school didn't offer it, but I found a way to play at one of my neighboring schools. I was told that we couldn't afford the gas money my sophomore year so I started finding rides, got a job, eventually my own car, and kept my grades up just so I would still be able to play. Since sixth grade I have loved volleyball and I strive to become better and better at it each day. I hope that I can play in college to continue the passion for the sport and commitment through the years.
