While in the eighth grade I began playing recreational volleyball. The next year I tried out for my high school volleyball team, but I did not make the team. I knew that I wanted to play volleyball, so I was determined to make the volleyball team going into my sophomore year. I began training at Southern Elite Volleyball Academy and with that training I made my high school volleyball team, and I was named co-captain of the volleyball team. After the high school season was over, I made the 16U team at Southern Elite Volleyball Academy. During my first year of playing club volleyball, I fell in love with volleyball. I love the competition, camaraderie, and just having fun. I want to continue my volleyball career after high school by playing volleyball on the collegiate level. After college I want to play volleyball on a professional level and to become a volleyball coach.
Daily l'm working hard to become a better volleyball player by attending training sessions, private lessons, watching college and pro volleyball games, through the libero academy, and working out with my father. I also train with my sisters, who also play volleyball. My goal is to become the best or one of the best defensive players in my class.
Academics are very important to me. Currently I’m the 5th ranked student in my high school graduating class, with a goal of being number 1. In August 2024, I became a member of The National Society of High School Scholars. I’m currently taking two college credit courses.
