I became interested in pursuing volleyball full-time in the sixth grade. I had tried many sports but Volleyball was the turning point in my athletic career. I started skill training at an elite camp and then tried out for my middle school team the next year and made the team. During which time we were always in the top two of our league. After the season was over I became involved in club ball at RC3. I believe this enhanced all of my abilities as an all around player. I was able to try-out and make the high school team because of all the extra practice and hard training I put into this sport.
My personal goals are to complete high school with an excellent grade point average and test scores to allow me to begin my journey of entering into a career of my choice. My goal has always been to make the best grades possible due to studying diligently. My dream is to have more chances and possibilities in life than my parents or grandparents because neither went to college. My mother passed away when I was eight years old and I always want to know that I am doing my best. I want to make her proud of the person I am and will be. It has always been a challenge because after something so tragic your life is never the same. That inspires me everyday to do my best because life is too short to not go after what you want in life.
