Kalcee Ward '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Kalcee Ward, and I am a right side hitter/setter for the class of 2020. I come from a small town in Shelbyville TN, where the volleyball program wasn’t started until 2015. Ever since the program started, I have loved every minute being able to play and better myself.  I have been playing volleyball for 5 years now and wish to continue my passion into the college level. 

I have the ability to be able to play front row or back row if necessary. For my school team, I play all the way around as a setter and a right side hitter. As for my club team, I play right side. I am hardworking, dedicated, and passionate to my sport and academics. I am a team leader, as well as the captain for my school team. I believe in making mistakes and learning from them. Keeping a good attitude and wanting to improve yourself is key.  

I am looking for the best college fit for me in academics and volleyball. I am on the AB Honor roll and plan to major in Sports Medicine. I picked sports medicine due to my passion for sports and wanting to continue being able to be around sports. With this career path I will be able to help athletes get better and back to what they love most. With the right school, I will be able to get the best education and volleyball experience that is best fit for me.
