My name is Rylie Patterson and I am a 6’0”, right handed Senior at the brand new West Plains High School (class of 2023) where I was the starting Varsity MB (also played RS) for our 2022 season! My GPA is 3.7. We had a great inaugural season going 32-9 and winning our post season Bi-District and Area Championship matches. For 2022 I was Varsity volleyball Co-Team Captain, THSCA Academic All-State (volleyball) recipient, selected to play in the Texas Golden Spread High School Volleyball All-Star Games, District 4-4A Volleyball All-District Honorable Mention, Amarillo Globe-News Volleyball Super Team, Globe-News Volleyball Super Team preseason honorable mention, PessPass Sports preseason honorable mention for Texas Panhandle Volleyball Notable players to watch in 2022. I am a member of my schools Student Council and for 2021-22 awarded Junior class Who’s Who, and for 2018-19 National Junior Honor Society.
I've been involved with club volleyball since the 3rd grade.
Academic’s are a high priority to me. I've always strived to make good grades in school as I value my education tremendously. It’s significant for me to do good in school so I can continue to play the sport I love in high school and hopefully at the next level in college. I plan to major in Education with a goal to coach high school volleyball.
I never give up no matter what and always focus on getting better by pushing myself and my teammates to work hard and persevere.
I wouldn’t be here without the talents Jesus Christ has provided me as well as the great support of my family. They have sacrificed so much to help get me to where I am today.
