Ever since I started playing volleyball at eight years old I knew I was where I belong. From that time, I have had many coaches, and played on several teams. Now that I am getting closer to the college game I find myself that much more driven. I have always dreamed of playing volleyball in college.
I am a leader on and off of the court. So far, I am been selected as the captain of my various volleyball teams each and every season beginning back in middle school. I have great court vision and awareness. My biggest strength on the volleyball court is my knowledge and understanding of the game.
I love being the setter on the team. It is a selfless position and one that requires focus, intensity and above all great confidence. I feel that I have all of these characteristics. I love competition and the idea of teamwork. It brings out the best in all of us. I can't wait to earn my spot playing collegiate volleyball.
