My name is Sasha Rudich and I am a 6 foot 2 inch Middle Blocker, currently playing club on the 17 Mizuno team for Austin Juniors Volleyball. I attend Lake Travis High School, and will be graduating in the spring of 2019.
I am very passionate about volleyball and would love to pursue it at a high level, while attending a school with rigorous academics.
On the volleyball court, I am an excellent team player who understands that each person on the court plays a particular role, but that playing together as a team is what makes the difference between winning and losing.
I play Middle Blocker and take great pride in my blocking abilities. I have been told by many coaches that I have an innate timing and anticipation which is what allows me to block so effectively. I have also been told that my arm swing is one of the fastest they have seen which makes be a very effective hitter.
I am proud of my leadership skills. I am a lead by example leader who is always the first one in the gym and the last one to leave.
I also wanted to share that academics are a major focus for me. My GPA is 3.9 and all my classes are Pre-AP or above and focused on the sciences. My career plan is focused on the Health Sciences.
