Carolina (Nina) Salas '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Carolina Salas. I am an Outside Hitter and DS, and I've played volleyball since I was 8 years old. Volleyball has taught me that not only skill, but accountability, teamwork, hard work, determination, and most of all: heart, is what playing sports is about. I have played club volleyball with AJV for 6 years.  it gave me an opportunity to grow my character and prove to not only coaches, but myself that I am capable of pushing myself to get better every day. I go to the gym whenever I have free time because that's where I can develop the skills necessary for success on the court. I believe that the work I put in will pay off in the future. The reason I love and keep playing volleyball is that this sport has offered me more than I could give. I am hopeful to find the program that will help me further my future in volleyball!
