I am hard-working, driven, coach-able and very responsible. I believe the team is the star -- not the individual. I hope to be on a team that refuses to settle for second best; a team that goes on the court to win because that's the attitude and spirit I bring to the court.
I would love for volleyball to give me the opportunity to attend a university that I may not otherwise be able to attend. I will continue to challenge myself academically by taking the most rigorous courses to prepare for college. I am looking for a school with strong programs in the health sciences, where I can obtain a degree in biology or nursing, and play volleyball at a very competitive level.
In 2019, I will have seven years of club volleyball experience. I love playing volleyball, and being a part of a team is fun. As a member of a team, it is a way for me to be a part of something bigger than myself. I strive to make positive contributions by putting forth maximum effort no matter what position I play. Whether on the court or the sideline, I know my effort, and positive attitude is important to the team's overall success. I have played as an outside, opposite/right side, setter, defensive specialist and libero positions. I have played 6-rotations on my club and high school teams. I will continue to work at each position. I have enjoyed the opportunity to serve my teams as a utility player as needed. Over the last three years I have trained extensively to improve my setting skills. I believe that I have the athleticism, competitive drive, experience and love for the game that is needed to be an asset to any college volleyball team.
