What can perseverance, determination, and hard work to overcome adversity teach you? I can tell you it has taught me many lessons that I carry over not only into my volleyball playing, or studies, but also to my day to day life. My name is Kooper and I am a motivated, dertermined, self starter who is looking for a good fit for the next chapter in my volleyball and collegiate career. Three years ago I had a terrible accident that resulted in two surgeries on my left elbow, hundreds of hours of physical therapy, and the stark reality that I may never do things I love again. My doctor told me no more volleball, ballet, or tubing at the lake, ever again. At thirteen years old, life as I knew it was over. Something about that prognosis didn't sit well with me and I decided right then and there to work hard and get back to my former activites. With the help of a medical team at Scottish Rite hospital, I have regained almost all of my left arm's function and have become the best hitter at my school today. My faith, academic success, leadership skills, and sheer determination have made me the player and student I am. I look forward to building relationships and being an asset to any team that will have me. Come watch me play!!!
