Hi! My name is Ada Stopschinski and I am a 2023 graduate. After I graduate high school, I plan on going to college, majoring in Journalism and playing volleyball. Since the 7th grade, I have taken the highest level classes offered. Academics are the main focus for me and as of right now I have a 3.7 GPA. I plan on taking the SAT in Fall of 2021 or Spring 2022.
I have been playing high-level club volleyball since I was 14. I have been playing high school volleyball on the varsity team since I was a Sophomore. When it comes to volleyball, I am a very outgoing and dedicated athlete. I am looking to play for a team that is close-knit, with players that play for the team. I am ready to give 120% at every practice and game, and be super-committed to winning. I enjoy working hard and I am constantly finding ways to improve my game.
The attributes that I have as a volleyball player are that coaches tell me I am coachable and have a high volleyball IQ. They also say I am a momentum changer. Hopefully it shows in my highlight videos, but I have always been the hardest hitter on every team I have played (or at least one of the two hardest hitters). I pride myself on also being a smart hitter, knowing where to place the ball. I used to play OH but coaches have moved me to OPP, I was told it was for my blocking skills. So I have embraced playing right side and I am focused on being the best blocker and scorer I can be.
I am always looking ahead to the future, excited and ready to take on what the world decides to throw at me next.
