I have dreamed of playing college volleyball since about the age of about 10 which is when I started to play volleyball. I remember our middle school coach was wanting me to go to the camp they had during the summer and I was very nervous. She said I had a natural ability for volleyball. Coach Cox still gives me advice on how to keep getting closer to my goal of playing college volleyball. In the past years I have had a problem with getting really down on myself after I make a mistake and I have seen definite growth from that. I have become more of an encourager because I know how it can effect a player. My mom is one of my biggest encouragers. She takes me to all of my practices and tournaments. I want to pay her back by getting a scholarship. Hard work has always been something I do and I do not give up. The sport helps me manage time and learn to multitask. Volleyball has brought me to make close friends that I will always have contact with.
