I have fast feet and a positive attitude. I think I am a great team member; I can be the cheerleader from sidelines or leader on the court and a beast in the weight room. Driven academic focus with long term goal of working in the medical field but undecided for actual job. I volunteer at a local hospital during the summer and outside school I enjoy spending time with my family, playing piano, swimming and playing beach volleyball.
I played other sports with 9 years of soccer, 7 years of basketball, 4 years of school and club track/ cross country, runner and high jumper, 2 trips to TX state finals for club track qualifying in 1600m, 3200m and 1600m relay, Varsity track as freshman running 400m relay, 1600m relay and 400m.
6 years of rec volleyball, 4 years of club volleyball - OH & Opposite Hitter and DS/Libero, Middle school volleyball - MB, High school - 5A Lake Dallas high school, JV as a freshman playing OH, Varsity for sophomore year and moved to RS and played Libero. Year-round focus on volleyball with ongoing privates and strength and conditioning work outs. For 2016 I was starting DS and backup Libero. For 2017 I planned on being Libero for school but at end of year evaluation, coach asked me to be open to going back to hitting as we are graduating several hitters this year. For club I am going to be an outside hitter playing all the way around.
I am looking forward to finding a college program where I can join a great team while improving myself both as an athlete and a student. Coaches have always told me I am very coach-able and have never seen me give less than full effort. I have shared blood, sweat and tears with friends and opponents, competed with and against best friends and cant wait to play at the next level. Thank you.
