Personal Statement

Hello,

I'm Bromli Watson.  I'll be a Senior and the captain for my volleyball team at Cuero High School in Cuero, TX.  I've played sports my whole life, mainly softball and volleyball.

I have been a catcher in softball since 2nd grade and thought I would someday play college softball.  However, I grew a lot in 7th grade and fell in love with volleyball.  I'm 6'1".  I do still play 1st base in softball for my high school team and finally hit a home run in our first scrimmage this year, but my passion is volleyball.  I am the setter for my high school team and grew to love playing defense my sophomore year.

I made 1st team All-District for volleyball all years and was very honored to also receive 1st team All-Area this year.  My stats for my sophomore year were 107 kills, 171 digs, 831 assists, 13.5 blocks, and 41 aces.  I was Newcomer of the year my Freshman year for my high school volleyball team.

I also received Offensive MVP for softball my sophomore year.

Academically, I've remained in the top 3 students for class rank since 7th grade and am currently ranked #2 in my Junior class even while playing high school and club sports and raising pigs for FFA.  I raise show pigs and show them at our county show and well as San Antonio, Houston, and Austin stock shows.

I'm used to being active and not being home very much.  I know I would be a great candidate for your school because I have experience juggling several activities while maintaining good grades.  I also like to have fun.  I would be a good asset to your program.

Sincerely,

Bromli Watson
