I have been playing volleyball since I was 6 years old. I want to play in college while getting a degree in Kinesiology or Political Science (pre-law). I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am third in my class of 266 students. I want to attend a University that is academically challenging and competitive athletically. I have played many sports, but I have always had an extreme passion for volleyball. I am a team player and I was able to step up as a freshman and play multiple positions (setter, outside, right side, middle, DS) when various teammates suffered injuries this year. I have worked insanely hard to get where I am now, and I plan to work as hard as possible to extend my volleyball career past high school. In addition to playing volleyball at the varsity level as a Freshman, I have competed with the Varsity Cross Country team. I was the district champion and our team placed second in the State. I was selected to the All-State team, placing 12th individually at the Texas State championships. My commitment to my academics and my dedication to my athletic teams make me a good candidate to play at the next level.
