Kate Bodungen '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior in high school and currently have aspirations of entering the medical field in college.  I have played club volleyball since the 6th grade and have dreams of continuing playing at the college level. 

I am a very strong all-around, versatile volleyball player, being a 3-year Varsity starter, playing 99% of the time and am rarely taken out of a game.  I was the only Freshman chosen to be on the Varsity team and named Newcomer of the Year by our district and voted MVP by my team that same year.  I have been team captain for both my high school and club teams most of my seasons.   I also play all positions, but am primarily an outside hitter and defensive specialist.   

I am a team player who not only focuses on the court,  but also in the classroom, maintaining a ranking of 3rd and 4th in my class of over 300 students throughout my Freshman and Sophomore years.  I am also involved in numerous clubs at my high school and am a leader in several.   Based on my strong work ethic and talent, I would be the perfect candidate for any college team.
