Karina Garcia '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Karina Garcia and I am a hard-working, dedicated, and agile Senior Volleyball player, at Burges High School in El Paso, Texas.  As a Co-Captain, I had the privilege of helping lead our team to an undefeated regular season, winning District and Bi-District championships and competing through to the Area Championship game.  While I am an outside hitter, I have been provided the opportunity to play all around and and am a solid Defensive Specialist as well.  I believe in being a team player and working hard every day in everything I do.  In addition to my love of sports, I am also driven by my love of academics and will graduate this next fall in the Burges Early College High School (BECHS) program with a College Associate's Degree.  I look forward to the opportunity to continue to play at the college level and pursue my goal of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
