Personal Statement

My goals for college are high. I hope to go into the medical field to become a doctor that specializes in either cardiology or cognitive sciences. I strive to be the best in everything I do; whether it's my grades, sportsmanship, leadership, or just becoming the best I can be on the court, I'll give 110%. I'm almost always the first on the court and the last to leave. I look for any free time I can be in the gym lifting weights or on the court improving my skills. Volleyball is my passion. I want to be in the weight room lifting weights and getting stronger, or on the court improving my skills and learning new ones. I'm the kind of person who wants to have those 6:30 a.m. practices before school and practice again after school. Teammates look up to me and ask me questions or for advice. I motivate them as much if not more than they motivate me. The best volleyball team I was ever on was the Enterprise High School Varsity team in 2013. I had an amazing coach who always pushed us, even when we thought we couldn't go any further. She is my inspiration. She always told us, "if you don't have your heart and your head in the game, leave. Because when you're on a team, everything isn't all about you. You have to work together and communicate."  I believe having a team bond makes all the difference both on and off the court. Once you have a bond with your teammates, it's much easier to communicate without hesitation. You are each others support, motivation, and backbone in every aspect of the sport.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
