Haley Garrigan '20 Recruiting Profile

I see myself as a person who not only loves the game of volleyball, but a person who loves to be a part of a team. Nobody is more critical of me than myself.  I look at all the bad in the world and I choose to focus on the positive things in life. I enjoy helping others and I am a huge animal lover. 

As a person, I strive to be the positive role model for my teammates and peers. I don't have all the answers and I am not always perfect because nobody is, but I learn a lesson daily and find ways to share my experiences with others.

I have been fortunate enough to have been able to try multiple sports in my life. I stared out with soccer when i was younger, however volleyball was a part of my family and so i decided to give it a try. I was thankful that i made the change as i have made lasting friendships along the way with both coaches and players. As I grew in the sport I decided to give back, so i volunteered my time to clubs to help mentor kids learning the sport of volleyball. I knew i loved the sport and could not think of a better way to give back than to share my knowledge and experience.
