It seems like I have been playing volleyball since I was able to walk, but I actually stepped on the court at the age of 4. Since then I have had a desire to play not only at the collegiate level, but also professionally as well. I know the commitment for playing after high school is far greater than the commitment I am facing at the high school level.
I am quick on my feet and have a consistent float serve. Although I may lack height I compensate with the ability to make strategic plays. I try my hardest to be a leader on the court, but at the same time a teammate and an encourager. I will do whatever is asked of me by a coach and will give 110% all the time.
In class I am very focused and work hard to have a high GPA. I am working towards dual credit classes and achieving a Health Science Endorsement upon graduation. I am very active with my youth group at church and love to volunteer with our Children’s Ministry.
I want to go to a college that helps push me to be the best on and off the court. I am willing to go anywhere as long as I can reach my full potential there. The greatest reward of it all would be to make all my past coaches and my parents proud of such an accomplishment; all the time, effort, and financial support they have put into me playing volleyball has paid off.
