Sports has always played an important part of my life. I have enjoyed the thrill of competition since I was very young, from competitive swimming, softball, and soccer. I began to play volleyball at age 8, and developed a love for the game. I have played a variety of positions when my team has needed me to, from hitter to defensive specialist, and now for the past 3 years, setter. I believe being able to play a variety of positions, gives me the opportunity to be an all around player, or where a team may need me.
Community Service is also important to me, and I believe in giving back to my community. I am involved with National Charity League, which is a national service organization, that also requires members to hold a leadership position. Throughout my time involved with NCL I have served two leadership positions and volunteered over 100 hours. I hope to find a college where I can continue to be involved with the community.
I am looking forward to attending a college that will help me grow as a player and student.
