Sahnee Dillahunt '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sahnee and this is my 6th year of club. My setting career began 5 years ago at a summer volleyball camp. Initially I came in as an outside hitter, however was highly recommended by other coaches to pursue setting based on the strength in my hands and leadership qualities seen in me. Volleyball has taught me great communication skills which has helped me grow tremendously as a person and player. This sport has continued with me across the country from New York to Texas. This move taught me adaptability to any new environment and/or obstacle put in front of me. Since I moved to Texas, volleyball has felt like an new competitive  world and introduced me to the driven and determined side of me as I went from a middle school with no volleyball in sight to a high school team that has now accomplished multiple years of  gold balls in playoff season and first ever ending record of 37-4 and 2nd in the 6A Region 1 district. My goal as a player is to continue volleyball to the collegiate level based on the unconditional love I have for this sport.
