I started playing volleyball at 6 years old. I quickly found my love for the game and continued to play on multiple rec teams before I switched to club my 12’s year. My first year of club taught me so much about the game but it also made me realize just how much the game means to me. Ever since then my biggest goal has been to play college volleyball at a competitive level. Through my siblings I have seen how much playing a sport in college affects your life and how hard it can be sometimes, but I know I am capable of putting in the work to be a successful college athlete.
To me volleyball is not just a game that I play, it is a huge part of my that life has taught me courage, responsibility, discipline, and how to work well with others. Throughout my volleyball career I have built confidence and passion to make me a better player.
I am willing to go out of my comfort zone to do things that improve my performance. In the summer I do sand training to better my speed and agility. I have found it has made me a faster, stronger, smarter, and just in general, better player.
My parents have been my biggest supporters throughout my journey. They taught me to never quit and to stay loyal to my teams. I believe I have the passion and dedication to play at the next level.
