Isabell Gonzales '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Isabell Gonzales. I want to share my story with you and tell you a little bit about me. I am 16 years old and I have been playing volleyball since I was 7. I have always had a strong understanding of what it takes to be a team, I have always played sports starting with soccer, softball and gymnastics. Now I am currently apart of the Volleyball, Powerlifting and wrestling team. I have been coached by a University of North Texas player, a lonestar volleyball coach, and many volunteer and public school paid coaches. I attend Iowa State Volleyball camps every summer in Ames, Iowa. I am a very strong leader who is coachable and dedicated. I have served my teams as captain and libero. I enjoy fast-paced leadership roles and being uncomfortable. At the age of 7 I decided I would play at the collegiate level and continue my volleyball career.  I obtain good grades and active in church. In high school I will continue taking honors and AP courses and plan to study criminology and law enforcement. I plan to graduate with a degree in law enforcement / criminology with goals to become a game warden.
