My name is Destiny White.
I'm passionate about volleyball, always pushing myself to become better. I play hard on the court and like to win. I am a team player, coachable and I can easily adjust to changes whenever they arise. Throughout high school, my coaches depended on me to lead the team on and off the court.
I'm a highly motivated student-athlete. With strong leadership ability, enjoy fast pace play and very coachable. I may be small in height; however, I'm a Middle that can compete for a starting job as a strong blocking Middle. I'm the explosive, impactful Middle with a growth mindset.
The highlight of my high school years, was understanding adversity over hardship. Learning to push through the pain of losing a loved one, my biggest supporter; within that same year, my high school team had a not so great season then soon after I had suffered a hand fracture.
The next season, I quickly learned how to bounce back and no one should ever count me out. Overcoming and healing through the pain, allowed me to become the "game winning closer" making a comeback my senior season. I loved being able to put the ball away and move my team to conference and playoffs wins. It has been amazing! With that being said, I believe my versatility would be a great asset to a collegiate program.
I am looking forward to continuing my volleyball career at the next level.
