A career goal of mine is to become an orthopedic surgeon. During my lifetime, my father was paralyzed, and has experienced additional accidents which led him to visit the hospital a few times so, I know what it is like to be set back and have to work even harder to catch up. I am naturally curious and enjoy learning so I excel in academics. I also use my sense of humor to help those around me feel comfortable and safe which is an important quality in a doctor. Along with being friendly towards others, I love to help others and am selfless in who gets the credit as we work together to achieve our team goals. I am fiercely loyal, dedicated and exude positive energy. These qualities translate to the volleyball court because I fight to overcome obstacles, and be the best that I can be always giving everything that I have every time, regardless of the mountain, I have an upbeat sense of humor, and I care for my teammates around me. I am very coachable and I love to compete. That love helps me remain grounded and it also helps me remember that playing and getting to know the people around me is a key component in the sport of volleyball. I know that I will make a difference on your team.
