Olivia Soliz '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Olivia C. Soliz, I am a volleyball player from Port Isabel High School and I am looking to play at the next level. I have 3 years of varsity and 4 years of club experience. On varsity I was awarded Newcomer of the Year ,varsity captain twice, 2^nd team all-district, Offensive player of the Year, a Sub 5A East All-Star starter, and first team all-metro. In 2017,during club season,  we got second place at the Lone Star Regional Tournament in Houston, Texas. I am a dedicated athlete and I strive for greatness. When I play I give all the glory to God and always put him first. I am willing to do whatever it takes on the court and in the classroom for the program. I aspire to continue playing the sport that I love and use it to further my education. As a student athlete, I am succeeding in the class room to get a good education. I know my volleyball career won’t last forever, but a career and relationships that I build along the way can.
