Hope Morales '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Hope Morales. I'm a graduate of 2028 and my main position is middle blocker and I also sometimes play opposite and right side hitter . In my younger days I have moved various times but Rockport will always be home to me.  I currently am in NJHS (National Jr. Honor Society) in which I need a GPA of 95% to be in.  

The five standards of NJHS are leadership, citizenship, character, service and scholarship.  I believe I hold all these standards in sports as well.  I completed over 10+ hours of community service.  I enjoy helping and serving others. 

  I am a muti-athlete which includes volleyball, basketball, track and field (shotput). As I begin High School, I want to add powerlifting to my list of sports. I play every sport with a positive mindset as I enjoy participating in them.  As a student - athlete this makes me happy. 

  I play many sports, although, I have a passion for volleyball.  When playing volleyball with my team I enjoy the ability of our team coordination.  Volleyball teaches teamwork and communication in which it gives value to athletes. I am very grateful for all my coaches who have believed in me, helped me through my struggles and challenges. They have helped me grow and learn to become better every step of the way. 

  Being an athlete. I understand mistakes are ok. I understand challenges will come and mold me to become better than yesterday.  I understand I have to face whatever comes my way and I will ask for help when in need.  As an eighth grader I have already achieved one credit for high school which is for Spanish 1 because I am bilingual.  I have obtained honor roll throughout my whole school years. 

  My collegiate goal is to go far in life. My aspiration is I hope to achieve what my parents couldn't as to my dad coming from a whole other country and my mom not finishing college. I'm a good candidate for any team because I know how to differentiate myself from others.
