Chloe Salcedo '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Chloe Salcedo and I am a DS/Libero graduating in the Class of 2020.  I am currently a sophomore attending Sachse High School in Sachse, Texas and have been on the varsity volleyball team since freshman year.  I have been playing club volleyball for the past 5 years and I absolutely fell in love with the sport the moment I stepped on a court.  Through the years, I have developed into a very aggressive and hustling player.  I also communicate very well and never let a ball drop to the floor.  Qualities I believe that every DS should have is being able to lead in the back row, communicate effectively with hitters and setters, always being consistent with every pass, and pursuing every single ball (even if it's not theirs).  Although I am only 5'5, I am quick on defense and consistent on serve receive, I have a strong volleyball IQ, and I know how to get job done for my teammates. 

While being a student-athlete, I am also a very well-rounded player off the court as I maintain good grades and participate in lots of volunteer work for school and church!
