Hello, my name is Haylie Dungan.
I played volleyball in 7th grade for the first time. I went to a couple of college camps before my 8th grade year and knew volleyball was my passion! My main strengths are sure grit and determination, willingness to play wherever the team needs me, and always pumping my teammates up! I learned that regardless of injuries or how good the other team is that you can always get back up when you may feel down. I realized how I could be an impact on the team simply by communicating, giving it 110% all the time, and ultimately becoming a leader.
I was an all american mascot and received numerous theater and speaking awards over the last few years. I would describe myself as a strong leader who is diligent and perseveres through anything thrown at myself or the team. I like being the strong link of the team chain.
My ultimate goal is to become a high school coach and then possibly a college coach. I want to experience all aspects of volleyball to help me understand every aspect of volleyball, which will in turn help me be a better coach.
