Personal Statement

One of my personal goals is to play volleyball in college.  I am very competitive and work hard.  I know I can contribute in a positive manner to my future team.

After a year of playing up with Texas Tornados 18 Mizuno, I will be at TAV Houston for 2016.  My primary position is setter, but I also help out in the back row and RS when needed.  I am very excited to join my new club, and would love for you to watch us play!

I was honored this fall to be named to the 2015 AVCA Under Armour All-American Watch List!  It really meant a lot to see my hard work on the court had been noticed and recognized.  

In 2012, I made the varsity team at my high school as a freshman.  In our first season playing in 5A, the largest division in Texas, we made it all the way to the Regional Finals!  For the 2012-2013 club season, I was asked to play up with the 17s age group at Xtreme, which helped me speed up my game and improve my skills.  In 2013, I earned my 2nd varsity letter in volleyball at my high school, and we were District Co-Champions and Area Finalists!

In college, my plans are to major in engineering or finance, as math and science are my two favorite subjects.  After college, I plan on staying involved in the sport by coaching.  Volleyball is my passion!
