Astyn Casey '23 Recruiting Profile

 I'm not trying to write what you want to hear, but I do hope that I write something about me that does get you to look at my videos, call my coaches and call/ text me.   I am a well-rounded player who understands the jobs of all positions, especially my own.  A big part of my mental game & what I'm telling myself on that court is, "that's my ball", meaning every ball has the potential to be mine and to always be ready.  I'm a valuable teammate and will continue to be an asset for your team.  I work hard receiving and passing every ball the best I can to my setter to make her job easier.  I thrive on digging a crazy hit or tricky tip. I love to have fun and part of that fun is working hard and seeing that work pay off.    I can adjust to change, take criticism to improve and lead by positive example.  I have a desire to continue to grow both on and off the court with team and coach support.  I know I have plenty yet to learn.  I have the want & fire to win & a voice to communicate.   I expect everyone to bring out the best in each other. Playing collegiate volleyball is my dream and a goal l strive to attain. Please help me to get there to proudly represent for your team. I am that DS/L you are looking for!!!
