My name is Kayda Kinch and my goal is to play college volleyball. I have always admired volleyball even when I wasn't old enough to play yet. When I was in fourth grade I began playing recreational volleyball. In the sixth grade I coached a third grade recreation team. From there I played 4 years of club volleyball at a local club team and my fifth year of club I decided to commute to Rage Volleyball three times a week for more competition, more travel, and different coaching. I hope to get an athletic scholarship to help pay for college. I am a very hard-working and competitive volleyball player. I am a consistent all around player willing to work in any position needed. I have played all the positions except middle blocker. I am very athletic. I play basketball as well but it is not my main sport. I mainly play basketball to keep myself in shape for volleyball. I was a starting point guard and a left wing. I normally have a 3.8-4.0 GPA . I go to Nevada Union High School. I played freshman volleyball and that season I was pulled up to Varsity during the playoffs. My sophomore year I played starting opposite hitter and I occasionally got to set on our Varsity team. I was a vital part in carrying our team to Division III Section Finals and to the Division I NorCal Quarterfinals (second round). I enjoy being challenged and I am always looking forward to getting better and reaching my full potential.
