Daisy De La O '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Daisy Marie De La O, daughter of Raul and Mirta De La O, I am seventeen years old, and I live in Van Horn Texas. I am a junior at VHS and I do three sports which are tennis, volleyball, and cheer. I have been playing tennis from my freshman year but our school decided not to have the sport this year. I have been playing volleyball since I was in junior high, I was apart of the varsity team this year, and I played outside back. My previous years of volleyball I have been the libero.  I play a lot of my time in the back row which is something I love doing I can always tell when and where our opponents are going to hit to.  This was my first year of cheerleading and I will also be cheering my senior year as co-captain. My aspirations and goals are to be able to have the opportunity to play college volleyball. I love the sport very much and have been doing it for a long time, therefore, I want to continue my career playing in college.  I believe the fact that I show leadership in my team, and I motivate my team to not let any little mistake discourage them. Being a leader, encouraging others, and having skills make me a good candidate for your team. What makes me different is that I am as athletic as others that play a lot of sports, as you can see I do not play as many sports as others, however, my main focus is academics and that is how I am. I am more advanced in my learning rather than sports, but no matter what I will push myself to be one of the best players no matter what the workout, or how hard the practice is. I always keep pushing.
