Jalynn April '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jalynn April, I have been playing volleyball since I was Twelve years old. I first started out with the Frisco Flyers club in Dallas Texas, since then my passion for volleyball increased. I fell in love with the sport, getting to know my teammates, coaches and a better understanding of volleyball. My dream is to further advance my skills at a collegiate level. I consider myself as a Determined, Motivated and a Hardworking Student-Athlete, I’m willing to put forth dedication and effort into being successful in anything I do. My personality drives me to be coachable, I’m a team leader and can set an example of being a positive role model on and off the court. 

In the classroom I take my grades very seriously I maintain A’s and B’s , I participate in AVID,CIS and a member of the national honor society. In my spare time I enjoy helping out my community by volunteering at local community events, churches and local farms because I love animals. However I want to further my academics at a college that provides a field of study of dentistry or my interest in being a physical therapist. I aspire to become the best version of myself by challenging my skills. I have the ability on proper approach techniques along with quick feet, strong hands when attacking and a smart mindset. I learn to live by the “play smarter not harder”. My goal is to be a role model for everyone around me, making myself and my parents proud.
