I am a 6 foot freshman but I only started volleyball 2 years ago. I used to do competitive dance until my height was obviously something I couldn't ignore anymore and that is when I started sports. The moment I started playing volleyball I fell in love with it and even though I had a late start I have been putting my whole heart and energy towards this sport. I now have caught up to everyone and I am going to continue to work as hard as I possibly can to be the best on the team and get a starting spot on varsity. To reach this goal I have been taking private lessons and working hard in the off season. Even though I put my whole heart into volleyball grades are also very important to me and I am planning on maintaining my 4.0 GPA. I put 110% into everything I do and I also believe that being a good teammate benefits everyone. I always do my best to be kind to everyone I meet and lift others up instead of tearing them down to be the best I can be at my sport.
I am very determined at what I do and even though it gets really hard with cheer, softball, and volleyball I have learned really good time management skills! Even though I am very busy I find ways to keep my grades up. I want to do college volleyball because even though I know that it will be a challenge with the major I want to go into ( either law or physical therapy ) I love this sport so much to take on this challenge.
