Alyssa Eltsosie '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyssa Eltsosie and I am a student at Whitehorse High School in Montezuma Creek, UT and I am Native American. Some of my collegiate goals and aspirations are getting my degree in sonography and attend a school that fits right for me. I am currently working on some schools to apply to that have my field of study. Along with aspirations, I am wanting to play at the next level to prove to myself that anything is possible if I am passionate and committed to it. I am passionate about volleyball that it would be a dream to play for one of you. I come from a small community so this is me showing up for my community and being a leader to the upcoming athletes that would love to play at the next level. What makes me a good candidate for your team is my ability to work with anyone and wanting to create a positive impact on the team. I also think my work ethic and my drive to DO better as well is what i think makes me a good candidate for your team. I am very competitive and that is what keeps me going in tough times and I definitely bring my competitiveness it onto the court as an advantage. My dedication to this sport is what will make me stronger and more confident to where I have developed that skill to be the same way in the classroom. Along with my ability to spread that positivity to my teammates as a having that captain role throughout my sophomore and senior year of high school. I am different from the other recruits because I am dedicated and I am a very strong team leader and will continue to build my skills. Along with that, some other reasons why is I am a very good listener and I am a very exceptional player on the court and will play till the whistle blows. I won’t give up easily and will fight with my teammates. I carry these traits to the classroom with the same drive and passion as I have with the sport. I love coordinating with others and will definitely show my abilities and skills to you. Thank you!
