After playing volleyball for a few years, I realized I wanted to make this sport a large priority in my life. My identical twin and I spent the summers training in beach volleyball in Huntington Beach and are continuously practicing year-round through high school, club, and private lessons. I have a clear vision of the high level of what I want to play and know that success comes through a strong team. I contribute to whatever team I am on, by giving it 100% and encouraging my teammates to do the same.
As a 6’1’’ female athlete, I use my height as confidence and thrive when my team depends on me. I am decisive on the court and in other areas of my life. I can think and react quickly, making crucial decisions in the moment backed by reasoning and hours of training and learning in preparation. I want to be a medical professional and attend a university that cultivates my ability to lead and be depended on because I understand the benefit of my role both on a team and as a leader.
