I am a multi-sport athlete, including many years in soccer, basketball, softball, and volleyball. Ever since I stepped on the volleyball court for the first time in sixth grade, I knew that playing volleyball made me happy. So while I still play softball at a high level, I hope to pursue playing volleyball after high school. I have been fortunate to collect some volleyball honors, including: athlete of the week in local newspaper, first team all-state, and two high school state championships. The reasons you'll want me on your team are my high-energy on-court personality, hustle, communication, leadership, determination, and athleticism.
I enjoy my classes, and work very hard to keep my grades where they need to be to reflect my efforts. My current average in my classes is 95.5, and I have been on the honor roll each quarter of high school. I was accepted into the Science branch of my school's STEM Academy this year and will be looking to study math or science in college. I'm building leadership skills in other extracurricular clubs, including: Athletic Leadership Club, Peer Helpers, and Bounds for Hounds. I seek enrollment at a college or university that will offer me the opportunity to combine excellence in academics with a volleyball program where I will continue to improve, compete, and have fun.
